As you can see the blog had a make over yesterday!!!

You guys should really check her blog and her design work out.

Today is my Friday and I couldn't be more happy about it.

Nor could I be more busy!

The friends and I are headed up to Snowshoe this weekend and we are hitting the road early to get a full day of skiing in tomorrow.

Wish me luck & cross your fingers I don't break anything!!!

1. Do you drink the milk after eating cereal or do you dump it out?

Usually dump it out because I don't put that much to begin with and by the end it's super sugary!
I do like to drink milk though not out of the cereal bowl.

2. Do you share drinks/food?
Sure I will!

Sometimes I'm a little selfish but for the most part I'll let someone try a bite/drink!

Who am I to deny someone something yummy?
It's "worse" whenever we try something new - a new place, meal, beer, etc.
I even let them use my fork.  GASSSSPPP!!!!

3. How often do you replace your toothbrush?

Kev and I have Sonicare's and those suckers require a brush head change about every 2-3 months.
Kind of a good thing because I honestly wouldn't replace it that often otherwise.

4. How often do you wash your hair?
Pretty much everyday.
I have too.
Honestly have to, gets to greasy otherwise.
Luckily since my hair is straight and fine it takes me like 2 minutes to wash and 5 minutes to dry :)

5. Do you use a dishwasher or do you hand wash your dishes? 

I use the dishwasher for anything I can for the most part, unless it's a hand wash item only.

The 4 years of college without a dishwasher was enough for me to know that hand washing all dishes really isn't for me...

Definitely feels like it should be a Friday, and it's only Thursday.
I think today is going to call for lots of coffee all around.

I have a Droid, Motorola Bionic.

It's about time for me to get a new one though...

*I cannot wear the color yellow to save my life.

Oh I always find this question to be tricky because I'd love to be able to do so much more, better! lol.

I have 3 I'll give you, and they are random...very random.

*I wish I could draw.

The only thing you will currently get out of me are stick figures & doodles...and not good ones at that.

**Be able to fix a car.
Like legit fix a car, not just change the oil or whatever.

Love & Coffee Talk

1. How did you meet your partner?

Officially we met for the first time during new student weekend in college. However, it was a quick encounter as he was taking care of a guy he'd just met in his dorm and they were headed back...did I mention in was like 2AM? 

However, overall I would say that the first time we met was when a new friend and dorm mate of mine Mandy, said "Hey, we should go get food with this guy I met at orientation (Kevin) and his guy friends." I agreed and we went.

2. How did you feel about your partner when you first met them?

Even on the new student weekend brief encounter I knew that Kevin was a good guy, he was taking care of an 18 year old drunk dude he had just met his first official weekend of college...clearly a good guy!

Once we went out to eat with the guys though I got a better sense of him. 

He was nice, good looking, funny, and clearly very social. 

However, we both had significant others at the time so there wasn't a "love at first sight" kind of thing happening. 

We were great friends for about a year before we got together.

3. Where was your first date taken place?

Honestly, I have no idea. lol. 

Mainly because I had hung out with Kev so often as friends that by the time we were dating I wasn't sure where the friendship only part ended and "lover" relationship started. 

For the sake of this and sometimes I will say our first date was his fraternity formal. 

Whew what a first date :)

4. Where do you see y'all in 5 years?

I see us with a family - at least a kid or two. 

I'm not sure if we will be in the same house that we are now or not, but if nothing else I'm sure we will be in the midst of planning the house we'd like to build. 

I see Kev meeting his career goals (for this 5 year plan). 

I'm not sure what I'll be doing but I'd like to be a stay-at-home and doing something on the side for but a little bit of extra income. 

That's about it at the moment, we'll see what happens?!

Birthday Coffee Talk

    1. When is your birthday? How old will you be? What is your sign?

My birthday is November 13th (aka 5 days whoop whoop)

I'll be 26 years young :)

sometimes I feel super old, but I know I am not.

A Scorpio and most of you know that I am the Scorpio personality to a T! 
It's a little unreal sometimes. 

2. What's the BEST birthday gift you've ever gotten? What is the WORST gift?

Best Gift:
Gunner! 

Kev and I had been talking about getting a dog for a while.
So we did some searching on Pet Finder...
 which is really difficult to look through. I wanted ever dog I think!

I sent Kev a few dogs that I thought were precious and met our "standards"...
things like we wanted it to be potty trained, all shots taken care of, neutered/spayed, etc. 
One of them was AJ, aka Gunner
we changed his name. 
Kev went to look at Gunner and fell in love.
He brought him home for me as a surprise bday present and it's been true love ever since :)

Worst Gift:

I honestly don't know the worst gift.
I don't think I got anything that I really hated.
I probably considered it the end of the world if I got like socks or something when I was little.
 So I can go with that...
or maybe the alcohol poisoning, that I am pretty sure was real, after my 21st. lol. Happy Birthday to me =/

  3. Do you like having birthday parties for yourself? What about surprise birthday parties? 

I do like having birthday parties but anymore it's never just for me since Kev is less then 24 hours older than me.
Since we've been together we've shared parties :) 

I've never really had a surprise party.
I am not sure how I would feel about that since I'm not one for surprises but I wouldn't be against it I suppose.

  
4. What is your dream birthday party bash??? 

Um...I don't really have a dream birthday bash per say. 

I wouldn't mind doing a group vaca sometime for Kev and I's bday's but that's not a bash.

5. What is your favorite kind of birthday cake? [handmade, store bought, made fresh by a baker]

My mom's home made Carrot Cake! 

My dad gets one made for his bday every year and so do I :)

  6. What is on your birthday wish list? 

Ya know I've had a hard time figuring out things I want for presents.
I suppose anymore if you want to know what I want, look at my pinterest account!

2) All of the Harry Potter movies on Blu-Ray.
I currently have some of them but not all.

3) A massage/spa day!

Some Coffee Talk

1. If you could punch ANY celebrity in the face, who would it be and why?

Just one? Lol.
I suppose I should start off by saying that I find it silly that some people are famous...I just don't understand their relevance to anything, although, at times I find them entertaining.
This is actually pretty easy for me though.
I loathe this girl.
Maybe it's because I think she could be a lot better, but she wastes it.

Taylor Swift.

Even though I really can't stand her at all I can't deny that she has a set of pipes on  her. 

Maybe if she sang about anything that doesn't involve love and some boy she's stalking lusting over she could be ok in my book. Until then I will continue to believe that she's the problem.

 

 2. If you could go streaking (running naked for those who don't know) anywhere and get away with it, where would you do it?

Um lol.
Can't say I've ever really thought about this before. 

Honestly I wouldn't really ever do this so it wouldn't be around a lot of people. 

I suppose it'd be somewhere like Kauai or Yosemite.

Just be natural in nature :)

3. What’s more important to a relationship: common values or commonalities (like tastes in music, interests, etc.)?

Well of course you have to have some common interest or else you probably wouldn't have met in the first place. 

However I think the most important things in a relationship are mutual trust, and respect.

I don't believe you can have true love without either of those first.

I mean you can have a "relationship" I suppose without those things but not a good one.

4. Would you rather be insane in a functional society, or one of the people running a dysfunctional society?

Oh man. That's a tricky question.

I suppose we are kind of functioning with the latter at the moment, and I often think I'm lucky I'm not of the people running it. 

However, I suppose I would choose to be a person running a dysfunctional society because that actually means I'd have some power to change that.

Plus if it were the other options I'd be locked up and looked down upon. 
Who wants that? 

5. What’s your favorite type of pickle?  Dill?  Bread ‘n Butter? Spicy?

Easy. Dill. 

And it's more of an obsession.
Not like a Snooki obsession but I really do love dill pickles.

I can throw spicy in there at times but no matter what I will never not love a dill pickle!

Coffee Talk

I'm linking up with Natalie for a little Coffee Talk this morning.

I've been feeling a bit under the weather and a new link up, especially when it involves coffee sounds like a must. 

 

1. Pancakes or waffles?

Waffles fo sho!

2. What is your go-to meal?

Usually it's some kind of pasta.

Linginue Alfredo most of the time to be honest. 

That or grilled cheese (sometimes with tomato soup)

3. What is your "must have" snack while watching a movie/TV show?

The only thing I really have to have is popcorn & a pop at the movie theater! 

Sometimes I throw some Sour Patch Kids in there :)

Okay, okay most of the time!

I don't really have a must have snack for at home.

4. What is your guilt food(the kind where you are sad, lonely, etc. )?

Hmmm...probably potato chips! 

The flavors can vary, but it's usually Salt & Vinegar.

Also a Cherry Coke :) 

Yum!

5. What kind of food do you eat that is so disgusting to others and you are embarrassed to tell? Come on! Fess up!

That's kind of tricky because I don't feel like I eat anything to gross in a weird way. 

I actually verified this with the hubs. 

He said I don't eat anything that weird, and he would know.

I am sure I eat things that people don't like just due to preferences like: sushi, indian food, etc.

 I will say that I probably should be a little embarrassed that I don't eat that well considering I'm almost 26.
