Valentine's Day Challenge Day 10: Vices!

Today's  Topic: Love My Vices(because we all have them)

I'm not sure if it's sad or not but it was not hard for me to pick out my vices. Do you think it's human nature to recall the bad easier than the good? I do. Although I don't think I'm an overly negative person I find it much easier to think of the things that I do that are "bad" over the things that I do that are "good".

So what are my vices?

1) Caffeine. Any and all kinds! For the safety of my family & friends that would have to put up with a caffeine withdrawn Megan I will probably not be giving up this vice anytime soon.

2) Speeding. I have lead foot, but I don't think I'm a bad driver overall!

Kevin is probably saying "Yeah right!", right now in his head! I am not that bad of a driver Kevin!

3) Shopping. With three malls within 30 min. or less of where I live I find it impossible to not shop at times. It's so easy to think of all the things that "need" to get, and it's all so accessible! I could be worse...like the girl from Columbus that was on: True Life: I'm A Compulsive Shopper. Kevin & my bank account thanks me for that :) 

 

4) It's kind of the same thing as shopping, but I think there is a difference. Discount sites! You know, like Groupon, Rue La La. I belong to so many! Mind you I haven't bought stuff off all of them, but I do check them regularly!

5) Swearing. I've never been one to believe that a girl can't cuss and I have never been one to say that people who cuss aren't educated and only use those words because they don't know a better one to use. However, I probably swear to much overall and should get better about it.

Valentine's Day Challenge Day 9: Family

Love My Family(pictures, traditions, quirks)

I would like to attribute a lot of myself and where I am to my family! They have always been there for me whenever I've needed them, and even when I don't! This applies to my own family and Kevin's as well! My parents & sister have been nothing but supportive of me and my decisions, and it's nice to know that I have a whole other family doing the same thing! Knowing you have a huge army of family behind you makes things so much easier!

Valentine's Day Challenge Day 8: I love me!

I'm doubling up the link-ups today with the Holiday Challenge & How Pinteresting!

Today's Topic: Love Myself(favorite feature, best quality, best personality trait anything)

I've been blessed with being a confident person. Yes, there are things about myself that I do not like but for the most part I'm happy with how I look and who I am! I think that alone is a feat. I don't know many people that can say that. Although, I think a lot of people don't realize their insecurities and would say they are confident and happy with themselves, when really they do things to indicate otherwise. I digress.

 My favorite features for myself are my eyes, my smile, my hair, & butt!

• My eyes, because I like the color of them. They are brown, but a light-yellowish brown. I feel like it's a brown color you don't see to often :)
• I might have a gummy smile but I like it! Plus it was my senior superlative a million years ago, can't let that title down! lol.
• My hair. It does absolutely nothing, but it's healthy.
• Since I don't really have a large chest, my "assest" is definitely my butt!

I'm getting this shirt. As a member of the itty bitty titty committee and marrying an ass man I think it's appropriate :D

My favorite personality traits are my loyalty, I'm opinionated, and my self-respect.

• I'm a loyal person. We all know this at this point. I'll do just about anything for the people I love and you better not mess with them...or else!
• My opinions are just those, opinions. I'm never trying to offend anyone but I will voice my opinion when necessary...or even when it's not necessary :)
• This is something that I've learned not everyone seems to have. Maybe when it comes to some things but important things, not so much. I refuse to let anyone, and I do mean anyone, walk all over me and disrespect me. I'm worthy of more than that, so please treat me that way! I'll stand up for myself and heck I'll even stand up for my friends that I know are better than the treatment they are getting. You have to respect yourself first!

Valentine's Day Challenge Day 7: Love my Blog!

Good morning! Day 6 of the challenge & still going strong!

Today's Topic: Love Blogging(why did you start, what posts are your favorite, why do you blog, anything.

Well to start off with the reason that I started my blog was thanks to a couple of friends & their blogs: Holly @ Running in Stilettos & Audra @ A Little Bit of Rain...both fantastic blogs! If you haven't checked them out I highly recommend it :) It looked like fun and all their posts were worth the read so one day I just decide heck, why not start one of my own. It was as simple as that for me.

However, as I've had this bad boy for almost a year I realize how much I've come to enjoy blogging. Although, I'm not always deep and insightful, and let's be real all that interesting sometimes I like it. It's something that I've started doing for me. I like showing off my life. I think my life is fantastic so why wouldn't I?

Valentine's Day Challenge Day 5: Love my Girls

Today's Topic: Love My Girlfriends

Hells yeah I love my girls! They keep me sane. I've always been blessed to be surrounded by some really amazing girls and have a very tight knit group of friends. 

I've always said that my friends are my family, and I think that is true. I have girls that I would consider to be just like a sister, minus the blood part of course. I'd do anything for them and I do believe that they would do anything for me. They tell me truth, whether I want to hear it or not. I'm a firm believer in the saying "if you're best friend can't tell you the truth, who can?".

Most importantly we have fun together and let each other be ourselves. Hence why it ends up being so fun...YEAH! HENCE! Sorry, I feel like anytime I say the word hence it has to be followed by that saying...thanks House Bunny! I really don't know what I'd do without my lovely ladies. Oh wait, yes I do, GO NUTS!

I love my girls & I'll never be able to thank them enough for everything they have & will do for me :)
