Today one of Kevin's fraternity brothers is being laid to rest.

He was kind and very hardworking.
He was fun and could make people laugh.
He was a good fraternity brother, friend, and always seemed to be there for the people that needed him.

He will be greatly missed.

Capture Something Different

I had planned to blog about something else today, but the other day Jenn, blogger over at Beyond the Stoop and real life friend since we were children, posted a video on Facebook that just melted my heart.

In the spirit of the holidays, I just I knew I had to share.

Doesn't that just make you feel good?

It restores my good faith in people.

I do genuinuely believe that people are good, but we get bogged down with terrible images on the news and I think it's easy to forget that most people out there, are good ones. 

Heck, it looks like most people are pretty funny too :)

Faith

This Monday has seem to hit me quite hard. I wasn't ready for it. Although I'm never really ready for a Monday, this one just seems extra heavy.

It wasn't that I had a bad weekend, it's that the weekend was full, and a bit draining at times. Both emotionally and physically. One side feels happy and grateful, while the other feels sad and questioning.

I have talked to God quite a bit this weekend, despite not being the most religious of people. Just shooting up some thoughts and questions randomly. I'm not sure if you can consider that praying, but it helps. 

I just have to remember that there is some kind of plan.
I just have to remember to have faith.
