I'm already ready for the end of this work day. Why? Because we are finally going to get to see The Hunger Games! Althought none of my pins are going to have to do with that today I'm really excited about it :)

I thought today would be a good reminder day.

Spring a-ding-ding

Today is the one day link up with Neely & Amber and what you love about the spring! Well spring isn't my favorite season but it's a close second! There is so much about spring to be enjoyed, especially after the cold winter (eh? okay maybe not so much this year, but you get my point).

What are my favorite things about spring?

Nature:

Everything about spring is pretty to me. The flowers, the animals all coming back...heck even the rain is nice!

My mood:
I am definitely someone whose mood is affected by the weather!
Spring time comes around and it's hard not to be in a good mood all the time.

Rough Weekend

So this is going to be short & sweet. I've been battling the flu since Saturday. The worst I've ever been sick in my whole life.

Today is the first day I've been able to make it to the couch and possible do some work from home. However, to get me through this day I'll be needed some upbeat tunes.

Have you heard this new one from B.O.B? I really like it, it's one of those summertime, windows down kind of songs.

1. My favorite color is    jade. I've been in love with this color for the last year!...and I really want that dress .

2. My home decor color palette includes    earth tones - browns, reds, yellows, greens, but we do have two blue rooms as well  . 

3. Other people always tell me I look good in the color     red and certain greens. No idea why, probably the skin tone.

From junior year! Honestly think that's the last time I wore that much red.

4. The color I detest is     I'm not a huge fan of pink but I wouldn't say I detest it, just don't use it a lot.

5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colors you'd see would be    aren't too bright. I have a lot of black and white stuff, but I have almost every color in between. 

6. A color that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is    yellow! I look awful in yellow! 

7. The color of my favorite dress is   Um. Well I have two. One is blue & white (with a red tank) and then multi colored.

It's Ok Thursday

Isn't all this weather just awesome! I am still reeling that it's only March and we are having 80 degree weather. Almost makes me a little nervous as I have a feeling this means it's only going to get hotter as the summer rolls in...hello 100+ degrees! I suppose that'd be ok though too.

I also find it okay...

that I feel as if I don't have any good clothes for spring & summer. Even though I've been getting things here and there.

to have gotten 5 pairs of flats in less then a week. All together it's cost me less that $150 to get them all. Thank you DSW & discount sites.

All 5 pairs in all their glory. Simple, but I needed some basics to replace the old!

to be obsessively looking for coral colored skinnies.All the ones I've found are out of my size, or really freakin' expensive.

that after the last two years I've really come to realize that global warming is really happening, and happening fast! I didn't not believe it, just saying it's really solidified it's true
