Day 6-A picture of something that makes you happy

I can't just have one picture of something that makes me happy because a lot of things make me happy! Once I got the one picture thing out of my brain this was so easy. Of course there are many more things that make me happy than the pictures I've posted, but hey you don't have all day do you?

So this is many of my happy things - beach, warm weather, & traveling
Music!
Sushi is my favorite - but any food will do really.
My camera & photography.

Day 5-Your siblings

Alright kids - we are to day five - so far, so good. At least I think so. You've heard all about my parents so lets move on to number 4 in the family - my only sibling - Miss Julia. I think it'd be an understatement to say that Julia and I are very different people. I think it'd also be an understatement to say that I wouldn't want it any other way. I find it a little difficult to think about all the good times you've had with your siblings. Not because there aren't any but because there is a lifetime of them! Julia and I have definitely had some great times, and we've also had some not to good times - and we've made it through not only as sisters but as friends. So to say a little but about Julia - she's got the ability to be anything she wants to be, however, if she doesn't want to do it...she is absolutely not going too. She's got a talent for writing, voices (ask her about Draya, and we all say she should do her own cartoon), makeup (she's done freelance work for MAC), animals, and making people laugh. She loves to shop and has been know as a hoarder of the family. Anything sparkly or elaborate is right up her alley! As I wrote before she is someone that can always get me to laugh. However, she's also the one in the family who seems to know how to push everyones buttons, and say that one thing that gets you all fired up (even though it ticks me off I'd have to say that's a talent of some kind). We've been told the we look nothing alike and some say we little exactly alike - and I think our appearance is the first thing that sets us apart (you be the judge by the pics below).  The thing I appreciate about Julia the most if she's free spirit. She keeps me on my toes in my well planned life and without her around things would have been very boring to say the least. Thanks Julia for being there for me as a sister and a friend. I've enjoyed the years I've spent with you and am giggling thinking back to all the ridiculous things that we have experience together.

Julia just weeks old - friends from the start :)

Day 4-Your parents

Ah the parents. I feel as if this is something people really don't get asked often enough about. The parents are the start of a home, no matter what your situation is without your parents you wouldn't be here and I'd say that's something to be thankful for.

Starting with my dad. My dad has always been the provider for our family, he's an ambitious
guy and when he puts his mind to something he does it. Usually very well - otherwise what's the point? I think what you can say about my dad is that my sister, or I are not "daddy's girls" but rather "he's a daughters guy". There isn't anything that he would not do for me and my sister! My dad is always the one pushing me, questioning me, and backing me up no matter what. I'm always been told I'm a lot like him when it comes to my determination, ambition, and stubbornness. I take every single one as a compliment. I'd say having the traits of a man who is a successful business person, healthy, determined, and a well liked man in the community. He's a man of many experiences and interests. I feel as though he's constantly opening himself up to new opportunities and challenges (he's currently training for a triathlon!). Finally I'd like to really applaud my dad for putting up with 3 girls for a good portion of his life and not going insane. I can't imagine raising 2 girls as a man is an easy task. I applaud all you dads son's or daughters, but daughters are a whole different level than sons! Congrats dad – you’ve survived and although you are far from done with us I hope to not put you through my crazy middle/high school moods ever again J

On to the mama. As my dad was the provider my mom was the home maker. I was lucky enough to have my mom be a stay at home mom as I grew up. Knowing that she was always around was a great relief to me – even if she didn’t always know that. My mom pushes me in a whole different way than my dad. She usually can get me to think about things in a different light, and that’s definitely something I appreciate the older I get. As I’ve been told I’m like my dad is ways I’ve also been told I’m very similar to my mother. Those similarities would come in the form of words and emotions.  I’d also say that I got my loyalty from her. We are both people that will not tolerate people we love being treated poorly or ourselves for that matter. My mom always had a patience with us as kids (which I know we tested daily, just ask her about “being on the phone”). She was definitely the glue of the family – pick us up from school, sports, friends, making dinner, cleaning the house, doing laundry, and having her own social life were just a few of the things she did for us. Because of my mom I’ve already decide that I’d like to be a stay at home mom. I want to be there for my kids like she was there for us!

Both of my parents have always been there for me. Both of them have taught me things as a person that no one else in my life could have taught me. My parents have always told me to be a confident person, that I have a lot to offer the world around me and have self respect. They have always let me know that they will support me right or wrong. My life has been full of love. Always having my parents there for me has been a blessing and something I will cherish for my whole life. They have been married for 27 years now and I’ve also lucky to say I have a wonderful relationship to look up to as I get closer to being a Mrs! I know I don’t tell them nearly enough but I greatly appreciate everything you have done and do for me mom & dad. Thank you for the wonderful life, and I’m exciting to go through many more life experiences with you guys by my side! - From The Queen J

Day 3-Your first love

I wasn't and am still not completely sure how to take this question. Do they mean this in the sense of real love, as in boyfriend, fiance, husband? Do they mean your first puppy love crush whether it be a real person or a celebrity? So I suppose I can do a little of each.

So first love for real. I will have to admit that Kevin was not my first love. However, he is my true love and the only one for me. That being said my first love was named Clayton Kline. We started dating sophomore year of high school and dated about two years. I can honestly say that I appreciate my time with Clayton, even if it was/seems like forever ago. We had some good times, and some not so good times, but did I learn a lot. You experience so many new things with your first love it's no wonder you don't forget them. Clayton helped me learn a lot about myself and what I wanted in a significant other. I really think if I had not had that time and connection with Clayton I wouldn't have ended up right where I am suppose to be. Happy and madly in love ♥

Next first crush/puppy love/celebrity love. I had a hard time with this one because I don't think I  have been crazy about a celebrity in my life. There are definitely actors out there that I find gorgeous and talented but never enough to have "loved" them. I blame the realist in me. However, the first guy or shall I say guys that I can remember thinking were so cute and loved their music were these fellas!
That's right.  The Backstreet Boys. This crush was shortly followed..you could even say extended to these guys.

I will say that I do think overall that BSB has much better looking band members than N'Sync. N'Sync did had some good tunes (don't tell me you don't like the song Bye, Bye, Bye..you'd just be lying). I am proud to say that to this day I still sing along to every BSB & NSync song that I hear and JT is still one of the cutest guys I've ever seen!

Day 2-Meaning behind your blog name

If you are a member of my family or one of my best friends you completely understand why my blog name is what it is. But for the rest of your that don't...here's the tale :)

Starting very early in life I've had the reputation of being a bossy person. I'm telling ya I'm not sure where people get this from because I'm NEEEVVEERRR bossy ;P  As a child I was referred to as "Little Miss Majesty". Not sure who originally called me that but it stuck and it was said everytime I tried/did boss someone else around. I also think it got used whenever I got something I wanted too (which honestly was most of the time). At one point I'd heard it often enough to say to my mom (as she asked me to do something like cleaning up my toys) "Well ok Little Miss Majadee". Yes, I said it wrong...I was like 4 or something.  Anyways - the title changed as I got older to the "The Queen". Luckily I was never called Princess - I don't like that nickname. To this day around my house you will find queen items - crowns (yes I have a tiara floating around here), crown decor (key hook, signs, etc), stuffed animals of various kinds with queen saying on them, and even some magnets (see below for a few of them)!

I can tell you I enjoy my title and maybe some of you think of this as bad but it does fit me to a tee if you know me. That being said I do not believe I am a controlling, spoiled or mean person. Yes, I can be bossy and I think if I deserve what I want I should get it (anyone should!) but let's not let "my title" deter you from becoming a friend :) I will say to you friends my life is fabulous so it really is good to be queen. Thank you to all the wonderful people in my life who let me be me even if it's a bit much as times :D

The tiara - no I didn't win anything it was just given to me!

The wine glass my TEM family gave to me for graduation

Our key hook - thank heaven's Kevin puts up with this title

So true :)

Day 1 - Introduce yourself and give 15 interesting facts

Hello! My name is Megan Robideau. It's nice to see all of you!

1) I have found the love of my life - and we are less than 24 hours apart in age!
2) I have an obsession with tea.
3) I'd love to be a food critic or a photographer.
4) I'm a Scorpio and I'd have to say the description for a Scorpio is pretty much dead on for me.
5) I love good music - whether it's hip hop to shake my groove thang to :) or a good 80's song to sing along with - love it!
6) People watching is my addiction
7) I absolutely cannot stand bad drivers! If you can't drive correctly get off the road or at least out of my way!
8) Did I mention I have an alter ego when I'm driving?
9) Recently my life has been overrun with M's - Kev's sister Megan O'Dell (big Megan), me of course (middle Megan), Kev's step sister Megan Ringly (little Megan)..I'm not even kidding. Kev's dad Mark O'Dell & Megan O'Dells fiance Mark Phillips. Talk about confusing!  But I wouldn't change it for the world!
10) I can't whistle!
11) I love animals & would love to start my own no kill shelter.
12) I'm a firm believer in luck, karma, and true love!
13) I couldn't have made it this far without my friends & family.
14) My sister Julia can always make me laugh. She also knows how to tick me off the most...funny that way.
15) I'd rather spend the night in with some good friends than go out to a bar any day!

30 Day Challenge

I had been thinking about starting a blog for awhile now. Well if you think a couple months is awhile...but that's beside the point. The whole reason I started this when I read Audra's blog A Little Bit of Rain and saw she was doing a 30 Day Challenge! I thought,  "That looks like something that would be fun to do!" Honestly,  I think it's good to write down certain things about yourself sometimes. Maybe because I feel like it can put things in perspective as to what kind of person you are. I believe it's important for a person to realize what kind person they are and what kind of person they want to become. I think I know who I am as a person - I try to be aware of not only my strengths but my flaws as well. I try to change those flaws to strengths - psh it's been wonderful just ask Kevin - and it won't always happen. Sometimes seeing things on a piece of paper...in this case a computer screen...makes you realize all the things you have done, been given, changed, let go of, and held on to for dear life, to become the person you are to this day. Some things on this survey aren't life altering things...not sure a movie has impacted my life so deeply I've had an identity shift I do know my family has! My friends! Kevin! all are though. I believe this challenge to be a good thing for me to do right now...put things into perspective.

Here is the list of the each day if you'd like to try it yourself!

This should be interesting...

So for those of you who know me this blog may come as a shock. I am not someone who typically would start blogging...more because I have a slight fear of writing. Why start a blog then you ask? What a good question - and luckily I do have some answers for you. I've decided to start this blog for several reasons - 1) I have friend blogs that I follow & I love them! I'd say they were my inspiration for this. 2) It gives me a chance to be creative..which I'm not the best at so you may have to deal with me. 3) For those of you who care it will be a place to update my life. As some of you know I'll be getting married in October so right now I'm preparing to go through one of the biggest moment of my life (and I'd like to take you along if you'll join). 4) I've always been told writing is a good stress reliever. During this busy time - I need it. And finally 5) why the heck not!

That being said I hope you all enjoy this blog. It's going to be an interesting task for me to take one...and more than likely you will all get a laugh out of it. So without further delay...here is my blog.

To start the blog I wanted to leave you all with a little something - one of my favorite quotes and something I hold to be true (maybe it's not a cape and tiara for you, insert whatever gets you motivated to make the world a better place). Enjoy!
