How Pinteresting: Christmas Wish List

Good morning & Happy Wednesday to all of you! It's that time of the week again. As I've been getting asked for some Christmas gift ideas I figured what better way to tell people some of the things I want then by going on the site that makes me want everything?! You all know it's true.

I immediately fell in love for this. It's cute & looks so comfy!

Harry Potter stuff...duh!

I love the richness of this color. Prefect for the winter time.
Ps - it's the first real cold day here, and while I was ready for it to start feeling like November, I forgot how much I don't like winter & the coldness. BEH!

OMG. I love Anthropologie. This looks like the warmest most comfortable sweater ever!

A couple little house items that I would love to have! The kitchen aid mixer attachment I think is pretty self explanatory. As for the pan drain funnel thingy, that is a God send! I have issues when it comes to draining things out of a pan. Issues like dumping it all in the sink...yeah I'm that good.

A nice camera bag! I wouldn't mind a nice camera strap to go with it either :)

Of course I need some new Blu-Rays. I could probably list a ton that I want, but here are some of the tops listers :)

Hope you've all been good this year and can get what you want :) What are you asking for this year?

25 Facts - Things you might not know.

So I know this is a tad bit late...a week to be honest but I had already made my post for last week on Tuesday. I'm jumping on board the link up wagon and telling you guys 25 things about myself that you might not know.

1) I hate being called Meggy. That's not my name!

2) Lobster is my weakness!
Note the bib and the gi-normous lobster on the plate in front of me :)
3) I always have to wear socks to bed. I know it's weird, but I have to!

4) There are 3 things that I really want to learn how to do/do better. First, learn how to fix a car. I mean legit fix a car,  not just change the oil. Second, how to shoot a gun like a pro. I can shoot a gun just fine, but I'm not the greatest lol. I want to be like one of those people on Top Shot :) Third, play the drums. I use to play way back in the day, like middle school. I think it'd be hott :)

5) I hate mushrooms but I love when it's time for morel season & Mark fries them up for us. I guess I should note that I am getting better about eating things with mushrooms but I they still haven't made it onto a pizza...or even worse....eaten raw. ICK!
The results of Kev's 5 minute Morel hunt in his Nanny's backyard!
6) It's a life goal to make it to every major sporting event in the world. I've started making good progress. I was in Italy for the Soccer World Cup in 2007. Italy won...it was one of the best nights ever! I've been to the Tour De France in 2004. That was the Live Strong year with Lance Armstrong...got to see Sheryl Crow too. I've been to the Kentuckey Derby twice. Many more events to go :)

7) I have no issue with Kev and I being the first people on the dance floor!

8) I have no big toenail on one toe, and they still paint it (the skin) when I get pedi's :)

9) I will not stand on  a shower drain for fear of a spider crawling out and touching me. One of the only places I find spiders...the shower or tub. And if I do touch the drain I prompt hop to the other side of the tub/shower.

10) I have only ever owned an SUV. I even took my drivers test in one (also my first car). Which leads me to believe that I one of the best women parallel park-ers you will ever meet :)

11) My friends got me a stripper for my 21st. Not kidding. It was hilarious, not sexy...and wrong...oh so wrong. I'd also like to add that JD was a very nice gay man working his way through optometry school.

12) The Walking Dead has quickly become an obsession. I cannot get enough of this show.

13) One of my all time favorite things about Christmas is getting to listen to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Most of you know the song they play from the houses that sync up their lights with the tune. My family listened to the cd's all the time at Christmas and Kev took me to one of their concerts a couple years ago. They are incredible!
If you get the chance to go to this show it's a must!! That are amazing and so much fun to watch. I get chills thinking about it.

14) I like to swipe cool glasses from bars. What? They won't miss them!

15) I think I want entirely to much Law & Order SVU because I'm paranoid about people "watching" me and walking in the dark alone. Whenever Kev isn't home for the night you can find me locked in my room with the dog and food supplies so I don't have to walk around the house alone.

16) The Journey concert was easily one of my favorites!!

17) Broken bones and snot are the only things that really gross me out. Like make me gag and/or faint gross me out.

18) I knew how to drive a jet ski at a young age and is one of my favorite things to do on the water :)

19) If and when I go to grad school I want to take something cool like photography, or culinary school.

20) I really miss my TEM class. They are an amazing group of girls!
Our last Final Party!
21) I've ridden one of those rodeo bulls in a bar. It was awesome and I can't wait to do it again!
I was nervous!
Ahhhhh!
22) I have not seen some of the most classic movies of our time. It's a super movie buff fail.

23) I look forward to St. Patty's day every year because it's the only time I do Irish Car Bombs. They are my favorite!
Notice the Bombs :) MMMMMM!
24) I'm liberal when it comes to social issues but I'm conservative when it comes to my money. I'm not talking stingy. I give to charities and what not, I'm talking about things like taxes and over government related issues...

25) I think I could be a vegetarian if it weren't for bacon, pepperoni (on pizza), and steak...and of course I'd eat fish.

Now what don't I know about you?! Have a Happy Tuesday!

Turkey Day Fun

Probably should have done this post on Friday but since I didn't have to work and was heading up to the Northwest I didn't have the time that I would have liked to nor did I really want to have to think a ton. It was my day off people alright. Day off = no thinking. At least that early in the morning.

Anyways, this year we spent Thanksgiving with Kev's dads side. Well the whole Thankskgiving holiday at Mark & Lynn's was up in the air as they have been re-doing/renovating a house and we have no idea if it'd get finished in time. Thankfully, it did. Enough that we could have a nice Thanksigiving dinner with the family, some friends, and of course big ole' Charlie!
Family <3
The in-laws! Or should I say out-laws?
First Thanksgiving as hubs & wifey
Family friend Doug (far right), his parents (middle), & Marky Mark (far left)
Sisters!
The 3 Megan's :) If we thought it was hard before, now it's even more confusing with all the name changes! lol. When saying Megan O'Dell you can get both "big" Megan & myself to answer.

Charlie! She's HUGE! No picture ever does her size justice. She's like another person, weigh in at about 100+lbs!
Since she's so huge she can sit right up on the couch.
We had all kinds of food of course. Mark (Kev's dad) did a lot of the cooking...where do you think Kev got the skills from? However, Kev and I did contribute some green bean casserole and creamed corn! WOO HOO for helping :)
Crackers for scalloped oysters. The O'Dell's are big oyster people. I'd never had one until Thanksgiving with them!
All of that fit into their new oven!! 6 casserole dishes. Clearly Mark is excited :)
We not only had turkey, but we had 2. One was oven baked and the other deep fried. I bet you could guess which is better thanks to that lovely lovely grease.
Kev carving turkey number 1 :)
Everything was so good, and of course we all over ate. It's not really Thanksgiving if you don't feel like you are going to immediately bust open or fall into a coma. What a great holiday! I hope you all had as great of a Thanksgiving as I did!

Happy Monday :)

Fill in the Blank Friday

Happy Black Friday! I hope all of you who have ventured out today have come back to your humble abode in one piece, no black eyes, and all shopping bags are securily in hand!

1. Waking up at the break of dawn to go shopping is my idea of hell.I do enjoy shopping it's one of my favorite things, but I can't do it that early & I can't deal with any many people...ever.
Look at this madness!
2. If I were to go shopping today I would be on the hunt for  probaby that new washer & dryer I was talking about. Or a sound bar for our TV :) We've been wanting one.

3. The best thing I ate yesterday was    uhhh I'm suppose to pick just one thing? It was all good! I think one of the favorites was Gulliver's Corn.

4. Something I've been learning lately is   how to be crafty. Thank you Pinterest!

5. I cannot start my day without   hmmm...I suppose some sort of caffinated beverage. I always have to have a tea, coffee, or pop when I'm at work. Always.

6. My nighttime attire consists of   fairly personal questions eh? Most of the time it's a t-shirt and sweat pants or shorts. Usually sleep it shorts though, never wear long pants when I'm sleeping. Too hot!

Something like this! (via)
7. I am looking forward to The rest of my weekend!

Happy Friday & have a great weekend!
