Oh, How Pinteresting

It's been a busy morning already.
Hence the delay in this post.
*side bar* Am I the only one that thinks "yeah, hence!" from House Bunny every time I say the word?

Anyways...moving on to my pins this week :)

Lol.
That's too funny!

I use to get the pizza lunches purely because of these "Cafe Lady" peanut butter bars.
Of course the pizza was tasty too, but that's besides the point here.
I'm so excited to make these!

I am so doing this.
We have lots of old wine bottles and lots of buggies!

Raspberry - Mango Sangria.
Do I really need to say much more?

Well, if most people never thought of this before, (I didn't!) they will now.
Lol. Good luck parking po-po.

Can't wait until I can get those big comfy sweaters out :)

I.heart.Harry

Source: tumblr.com via Megan on Pinterest

I don't think it's any secret that I'm a pretty big Harry Potter fan.
So when I found this over on Sinead's blog, I just knew I had to take it!
I've loved Harry since the day I picked up the first book.
It's probably my one expection to having a favorite anything :)

1. If you went to Hogwarts which house would you be sorted in?
According to Pottermore I’m a Gryffindor!

I'm honestly a little surprised by that since I thought I could even end up in Slytherin.

2. Have you ever been to the HP midnight release?
Ya know, I don't think I ever did.

I have definitely gone opening weekend though.

3. What did you think of the Deathly Hallows?
I loved it.

They followed the book so well.
All the characters were there.
All the major scenes and even a lot of the details were still included.

4. How many times have you reread the books?
I've only read the books once or twice.
I have a good memory so I don't usually re-read things.

5. Whose death was the saddest?
Hmmm...I think I'm going to have to go with two different ones on this one.
In the book, Dumbledore. I cried like a baby.
In the movie, Dobby. I cried even more like a baby!

6. If you went to Hogwarts would you rather have an owl, a cat, or a rat?
I would say an owl just because it's so different!
Plus I love Hedwig :)

7. What do you think of the movie Half-Blood Prince?
I thought they did a really good job on that as well.

There were moments of high, suspenseful drama, but then there were moments of laughter.
Perfect mix if you ask me.

8. What do you think of the Deathly Hallows being split in two?
Well as I said above I thought it was a good idea.

They would have never been able to fit as much into one movie, resulting in not following the book as much.
That would have ruined it.

9. Have you read the Tales of Beedle the Bard?
I have! It's cute!
I want to get the other of J.K. Rowlings one off books!

10. When did you first become a Potter fan?
Oh jeez, when the first book came out...

so....
I was 10 :)

Favourite…

Female character?
Oh this is tricky!
I'd say Hermione and/or Luna.

Male character?
I'm going to exclude Harry from the count so I'd say...

Sirius and Ron
...and sometimes I hate to say it but I do love Snape.

Professor?
Professor Mcgonagall.
Hands down. Loved her from the beginning.

Death Eater?
I'd have to say Bellatrix.

She's crazy but she's powerful.
Frankly she's a bad ass.

Magical creature?
House-elves - because of Dobby

Griffin - because I loved Buckbeak.
Phoenix - because Fawkes is cool and who wouldn't?!
lol.

Spell?
Cliche but Expecto Patronum
...I love the the animals.

Book?
Ha. Can I say all of them?

Probably the 7th is my favorite...
followed by 4-6 lol.

Movie?
Again....can I say all?!
I liked the Order of the Phoenix and both of the Deathly Hallows.

Hogwarts House?
I'm going to go with Gryffindor.
Call me bias but I like all their personality traits better overall.

Place?
The Burrrow - because its so homey

and
Diagon Alley - because it's like the shopping center of the wizard world.
Bet it's awesome!

Weasley?
Ron and Molly

Couple?
I love when Ron and
Hermione finally get together!

This or that…

Gryffindor or Slytherin?
Gryffindor.

Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff?
Hufflepuff (because I like it to say it!)

Fred or George?
Fred...
even though there really isn't that much difference.

Ginny or Luna?
Luna

I like Ginny, just like Luna overall better.

Butterbeer or Firewhiskey?
Butterbeer!

Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade?
Diagon Alley

Books or Movies?
Books,

but I do looveee the movies :)

Half Blood Prince or Deathly Hallows?
Deathly Hallows.

Sorcerer’s Stone or Chamber of Secrets?
 Chamber of Secrets
Lupin or Sirius?
Sirius

...I do like Lupin as well, but I love Sirius as the role model for Harry.

Harry/Ginny or Harry/Hermione?
Harry/Ginny!

Harry and Hermione have that brother/sister relationship.
That would just be too weird.

Lavender Brown or Parvati Patil?
Parvati, but Lavender is SO annoying.

Seamus Finnigan or Dean Thomas?
Seamus.
Love his accent and I find him quite funny with all the stuff he blows up :)
I will say though I was on Dean's team when Seamus was doubting Harry and Voldy's return.
Shame, shame Seamus.

Kreacher or Dobby?
Dobby

Dan or Rupert?
Hmm this is a hard one.
I have a bit of a soft spot for Dan, but I find Rupert more attractive.

Bellatrix or Narcissa?
Bellatrix.

Voldemort or Tom Riddle?
It's the same person so both, but Tom.
He looks like a real person, Voldy does not!

Hedwig or Crookshanks?
Hedwig fo sho

This weekend...

Please do not have high hopes for this post because I simply cannot write anything to deep and meaningful today.
Today I'm struggling. Why? Because...
1) It's Monday.  Enough said.
2) I'm exhausted. Not just tired people, exhausted.
3) I am extremely sore and even my mind is to busy focusing on that than what to write today.
Yesterday Kev and I spent 8 hours cleaning out and organizing the garage.
Yes, you read that correctly 8 hours
No one, including us, realized how much shit we actually had in there!
We have so much stuff it's ridiculous...
and I realize that every time we do these projects.
Despite feeling like hell today it is gratifying to know that we got everything cleaned up, and it looks the bomb.com!
I'll give ya a picture later since we aren't quite done yet.
Again, you are reading that right...even after 8 hours we aren't done =/
But it's all about the little touches right?!

It was a good weekend though.
Friday was spent eating some Marcella's with the family.  If you've never been. You need to go...now!
Saturday got to see some of the Color Run my parents were participating in and we went to the Jazz and Rib Fest!
The parents after the run :)
They aren't to covered in color compared to some of the others I saw, but not bad.

 and Kev's cousin married!!!!
Unfortunately I didn't get like any pictures before my camera died :(  Blogger fail

 Mr. and Mrs. P!
Congrats to Mandy and Chad!!!

Ok that was enough writing.
I'm physically and mentally drained so you are going to get a little bit of music.
I'll give ya some of my recent favs.

Just different. Love it!

I realize that I really like Awolnation!
All their popular songs have seemed to catch my...ears I suppose in this case.

For the gangsta lova in ya :)
I love this song. It's cute, and has a good beat!

Happy Monday.

The Nail Files

Linking up with Tara today because I just got my nails did.
Check out that sweet new button, at least it's new to me. Love it!

Don't you just love the feeling of freshly manicured nails, or is that just me?

There is a slight glitter to this polish that I love!
The pink is the perfect amount of bright without being too loud.

Happy Friday!

Wedding: Family

The family.

The biggest reason that Kev and I were able to have such a special day!

Heck, the reason we are alive and are what we are.

Both of us would tell you that we owe our families so much for being their for us throughout our lives, making us the good people that we are today, and of course being so supportive of our marriage.
I know my family did not hesitate in the slightest welcoming Kevin into the family, and I had the same feeling towards Kev's family. Even years before saying "I do" I knew that we were a huge part of each others families. They cared about us together and as individuals.
Without these amazing support systems we would never be where we are today!

Of course my mom was the one that helped me get ready the most.

Good luck before walking down the aisle :)

 Walking down the aisle.
It was nice that Kevin got to escort his mom.
It meant a lot to the both of them!

The family portraits come next.
We had limited time in the church since there is a 5 o'clock mass on Saturdays.
So we had to fly through some of these.
Hardly even remember taking some of them =/

 My family.
Mom, Dad, and Ju :)

 Kev's Mom side!

Grandma, Kathy (Kev's mom), Megan, and Mark (Meg's hubs!)

Two of the loveliest ladies in Kev's life!

 Kev's mom & dad <3

Kev's dad side!

Little Megan, Amanda, Lynn, Mark, and Megan (aka Big Megan in this case lol)

My dad gave a welcome/thank you speech.
It was very touching, and I know that Kevin knew that he was greatly welcomed into the family. He knew before I suppose, but this time it was legal :)
My dad was happy with us girls, but I know he's so pumped to have a guy in the family!

I love this picture.
Lynn watching Mark give his Best Man's speech.
She was so happy that Kev had asked Mark to be his Best Man. She understood what that meant to Mark probably more than any of us.

Father/Daugther Dance.
You should all know this is not our first. My dad did a couple daddy dances with me when I was taking ballet, and those types of classes when I was younger.
This however was much different.
We danced to Walk with You by Edwin McCain.
I wanted my dad to pick out the song we danced too, and he did. I had never heard it, but I loved it the second I did :)
  Someone got teary eyed.

 Mother/Son dance.
I was almost more emotional for this part than the dance with my dad.
I'm not sure why, but it was cute to watch them dance together.
They danced to Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.
I'm not sure I've seen Kathy smile so much in one moment.
She is definitely very proud of her son, and so am I!

Kev and I both greatly treasure our families. We are both extremely thankful for everything they have done for us, both in life and for our wedding day. We love them all very much!

Happy Thursday!
