Personality: Work & Love

This does not relate to anything about this post but I have to follow up.
Hunger Games = awesome! The movie was really good!
I always think the book is better, and really this is no different, the book is better, but the movie is very good and definitely worth seeing!

Moving on...

A couple weeks ago Kev sent me a link to this website that he took a personality test on for work. Apparently it's a one of the best personality tests to take when it comes to your personality and your career path.

I always like taking these tests even though I feel like I've gotten pretty much the same result since I was 10, taking proficiency tests, telling me what I should start looking into for a job.

It's really no surprised what I got, and Kev actually got the same thing. We are "Determined Realist". None of you are surprised either are you? 

Some of the traits of a Determined Realist:

• Practical -yep
• Traditional - check
• Organized - eh, this is a little so-so
• Likely to be athletic - More Kev than me!
• Not interesting in theory or abstraction, unless they see the practical application - check
• Have a clear vision of the way things should be - check (at least in our minds!)
• Loyal - double check
• Hard working - check check
• Likes to be in charge - ummm really triple the checks for this girl
• Exceptionally capable in organizing & running activities - it's because I'm bossy (see above!)
• "Good citizens" who value security & peaceful living - I honestly thought that was because I watch to much Law & Order

Careers that we would best fit into:

• Military - yeah right. We are the bosses, not get bossed around! 
• Business administrators - I am pretty good with data entry & taking direction.
• Manager - that's more like it :)
• Police/Detective Work - I suppose. I can be nosy. lol. 
• Judges - hahahahah I am not sure why I laughed when I read this but I did.
• Finance Officers - also made me laugh because clearly they didn't ask any questions about math skills. 
• Teachers - Not for me but I think Kev could be good at it! 
• Sales Rep - This would be more up Kev's alley
• Government Workers - ehhhhhh
• Insurance Agents - double ehhhhhh 
• Underwriters - triple ehhhhhh 
• Nursing Administrators - Kev would be better at this too. Obviously he handles the young & the old much better than I do! 

You should give it a try and see where you fall! Maybe if you are looking to switch up the career field it will help!

However, another fun part about this personality test is the compatibility part of it. It only works if you and someone else takes the test because you are given a unique number to use to match. Now I've seen & even done some of the little compatibility tests around, but not one that is considered fairly legit. Kev and I always seem to end up in the same category of "type". Most of the time we get the same kind of results in the compatibility department. Kev and I can be quite the pair as long as we are willing to bend with one another. Without bending on either or both of your parts we would never work. It actually said without compromise our relationship could be toxic. Geesh! Clearly we are willing to bend. We are an in love newlywed couple that has been together a solid 5 1/2 years. I think it can be said it'd bend until Kev were happy, and vice versa but I'm not sure you would get that out of all those out there. I think it's fun to do compatability tests, just for fun. See what you get :)
