It struck a cord with me as the older sibling. There was and sometimes still sticking up for the younger sister. Probably more towards my parents then anyone else. You all know what I mean, your younger sibling starts getting yelled at for something they did and then you pipe in to "leave them alone!", or "she didn't do anything, I saw her the whole time..." Lord knows it back fires as the older one, then you just get yelled at for butting in. I never had to defend my sister in the situation like this, where my parents weren't letting her be her, because that's never happened. Julia is Julia until the end. But I have had to stand up for her in the past and I have no problem doing so. I'm the only one allowed to mess with my sister, no one else, just me!

Life wouldn't be the same without a sister to defend. I know I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I didn't have Julia to grow up with, defend, push my buttons, laugh with, and most importantly be my sister& friend.
Happy Tuesday! Do something nice for someone today, you never know who's sibling they might be :)
