Pinterest for Equality.

Recently I have been seeing a lot equality, or lack there of, issues floating around.
Obama supporting gay marriage, we recently watched Red Tails, and the list goes on.

I believe most of you know that this is something that I'm passionate about.
I've never been able to understand how or why people think they can treat others poorly because they are different.

Does skin color, gender, or different sexual preference really make someone superior or inferior?
I can't possibly see how since we are all human beings!
I don't think I'll ever understand it, but I will change it.
Please note that I do not care about people's sex lives.
What others do behind closed doors is their business.
My fight is equality for all!

I love this commercial!
I stand against intolerance.

Yep, I'm a bit of a feminist too. I think this is one of the top things that grinds my gears.
Yeah men might be stronger than women (depends on the man & the woman doesn't it!? I know some pretty little guys and some pretty big girls!) and I understand men are usually the ones to keep working once a woman has kids, but come the eff on!
I work just as hard at my job as a man works at his. In this day in age it's bullshit.

Hell if Eminem can do it, why can't everyone?!

Sorry for the f-bomb but I love this one, because I believe it's what Jesus thinks.

You should always remember that to others you are different to.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Happy Wednesday

What a powerful post. It makes my pinterest post on purdue seem a bit trivial. I'm proud to say that I'm married to a feminist. It's kind of cool that we have that in common. You be nice to me, I'll be nice to you. What a concept.

I love this post!

I don't mind the f word. Jesus spoke Aramaic, which - if it was anything at all like Yiddish - I'm sure was full of really colorful dirty words.

I seriously love this! I, too am so passionate about equal rights. I love the one with Jesus because I really believe that is how he feels too.

It's great to blog about something you believe in. I think that in todays fast paced world our brains have a tendency to put people in categories to simplify things. Even categories within categories (black women, fat women, women id go out to lunch with) I think it is SO interesting that I get treated vastly different when im wearing makeup and when I'm not, but I think people to it subconsciously. We need to train ourselves to not do that!

Anyways, I cant tell if Im getting off on some tangent or not ha, btw the "men are stronger than women" part made me laugh. out. loud. But I wont even start on that ;)
